    Good day, Shiloh Church family.

May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. – 2 Peter 1:2

We are in the midst of a critical and unprecedented national emergency, because of the outbreak and rapid spreading of COVID-19, or the Coronavirus. With the consultation of elders and staff, I have made the difficult but prayerful decision to cancel in-person worship services this week.

It is a biblical duty to meet together publicly and corporately for worship. However, for your safety and protection, in submission to the recommendations of government authorities, to be a good neighbor to our community, and to help limit the potential spread of the Coronavirus through social-distancing, I believe it is wise for us to cancel our large-group gatherings this weekend.

This Sunday, March 15, 2020, there will be a full, live worship service that will be streamed at live at 9:00 AM at Shiloh.Church and on all of our social media platforms. Our elders, deacons, staff, and select volunteers will be present to conduct the service. I will lead the service and preach the message. However, I am asking you NOT to attend in-person.

Our Downtown and Orange Park campuses will be closed to all members and guests on March 16-22 (Monday-Sunday). We will stream a live worship service at 9:00 AM again on Sunday, March 22. All other services, events, meetings, activities, and outreaches are canceled until further notice (This includes the upcoming Serve Day on March 28).

You will be able to give online at Shiloh.Church, SecureGive, Text-to-Give, or by mailing your offering to either of our church campuses. Let me thank you in advance for your financial support for the ongoing work of ministry.

I am instructing our elders and deacons to suspend sick visitations to hospitals and convalescent homes for the time being. But please rest assured that we are praying for you and will seek to serve you the best way we can under the circumstances. If you have an emergency of any kind, please contact one of our church campuses.

Please subscribe to our eblasts newsletters, visit Shiloh.Church, check our social media outlets for updates in the days to come. For more information about COVID-19, visit cdc.gov.

I am praying for you. I encourage you to take all necessary precautions. I appeal to you to trust the Lord who is absolutely sovereign, infinitely wise, and unceasingly good.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. – Proverbs 3:5-6

    All the best,
