  • WORD & WORSHIP with HBC2 & Joe Pace
  • We are beginning a new feature here called, WORD & WORSHIP.

It will consist of articles, reviews, and videos by me and my ministerial colleague, Joe Pace, who serves as the Pastor of Worship & Arts at the Shiloh Church. Our goal is to offer biblical guidance and practical help in the dealing with the relationship between music and preaching in corporate worship.

We believe music in worship should extend and support the teaching ministry of the church (Colossians 3:16). And we hope to help teaching pastors and music ministers to strike the proper balance for the edification of the saints and the glory of God.

We recorded this video on the fly. We have planned to do this for a while. But we finally set a time. And when the cameras started rolling, we just. started talking without any preset agenda. It is not so much an interview, but a conversation.

We stopped with many other things to talk about. And we can’t wait to talk again about the word and worship.

    Enjoy!

Did you find this conversation helpful? Are there any questions or topics about the relationship between the music ministry and the ministry of the word that you want us to discuss? Feel free to join the conversation in the comments section.
