  • I had a more than 10-hour flight from Rome to Atlanta Saturday. Then another hour home. Wiped out!

I should not preached. I was really tired. But I pressed on.

safe_image.php_I was so glad to be home with my family and to worship with the Shiloh Church family.

I was also glad to have our guests, including the family reunion that joined us for worship.

Praise God for the four persons who were baptized today!

Shout-out to our Pastor of Outreach, Reginald Bryant, for teaching my Bible Study Fellowship for me over the past several weeks.

I preached from Colossians 3:8-11: “Taking Off Sinful Ways.” I argued that you cannot put on the ways of Christ (vv. 12-14), until you take off sinful ways.

I explained the text around three questions:

    1. What does it mean to put off sinful ways?
    2. What sins must we put off?
    3. Why should we put off sinful ways

Praise God for those who were saved and added to the church today!

Nope. I did not get back to Daniel. But I will. I trust. God willing.

I flew to Milwaukee Sunday afternoon to preach at the Metropolitan Baptist Church.

Breaking News: NFL football is back!!!

The Dallas Cowboys and Jacksonville Jaguars both lost preseason games. But it’s only preseason. Or so I hope.

So… Tiger Woods choked again at a majors championship.

    How was your Sunday?
