  • This is Episode #008 of The On Preaching Podcast, the podcast dedicated to helping you to preach faithfully, clearly, and better.

In this episode, we will talk about how to stay fresh in the pulpit, as you preach from week to week.

    message from heaven

Here are 7 ways to stay fresh in the pulpit:

    1. Follow the Lord Jesus Christ wholeheartedly (1 Tim. 4:1; Ezra 7:10).
    2. Pray.
    3. Read widely.
    4. Practice faithful Bible exposition.
    5. Write yourself clear.
    6. Study preaching.
    7. Take breaks from preaching.

What do you think? What do you to to stay fresh in the pulpit? Are there recommendations you would give that I did not mention?
